Marketing rights collaboration extended up to 2030

Salzburg, Austria / Zug, Switzerland, 12 December 2021 - Infront and the Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV) have extended their long-standing marketing rights collaboration for the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon in Hochfilzen, Austria, up to and including the 2029/2030 season.

The agreement will allow Infront to further develop its successful collective marketing concept for IBU World Cup Biathlon competitions. In addition, it strengthens the close relationship between the ÖSV and Infront, adding it to the cooperation for the Four Hills Tournament and the 2025 Alpine World Ski Championships in Saalbach.

Christian Scherer, Secretary General of the ÖSV, said: "We have a long and good partnership with Infront. Therefore, we are very pleased that we could extend this cooperation in the long term. Our goal is to further develop the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon in Hochfilzen as an absolute premium product in winter sports. For this we need a reliable and competent partner, especially in these challenging times."

Stefan Krauß, Vice President Winter Sports at Infront, said: “I am pleased that we have already been able to reach an agreement with the new ÖSV management to extend our long-standing collaboration at the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup in Hochfilzen. In recent years, Hochfilzen has increasingly developed into a top Biathlon World Cup event. The stadium, which has been rebuilt since the 2017 World Championships, the highly visible tracks, the proximity to Munich and the first-class opportunities for Infront to host side events with its partners makes this event very attractive and therefore so important for Infront. "
