Frankfurt/Main, Germany - Infront Germany has announced that Reinhardt Weinberger, Managing Director of Infront Germany, will leave the company as of 31 December 2020 moving on to fresh challenges.
Reinhardt joined the Infront Group in July 2007, following Infront's acquisition of DSM Sportwerbung, a leading sports advertising company in Germany. He has served as Managing Director of Infront Germany ever since, most recently in a dual leadership role together with Marco Sautner.
Reinhardt's role will be taken over by Matthias Pietza as of 1 January 2021. Matthias has been a member of the Infront team for almost three years. He joined the company in 2018 as Sales Director at Infront Austria. In mid-2020 took over the role as Director Winter Sports and Premium Rights & Partnerships at Infront Germany. At the same time, he also joined the company's management board.
In his new role, Matthias will – next to his existing responsibilities – primarily oversee Infront Germany's Business Development and Rights-In Management, helping to further grow and develop its portfolio of partners. Marco Sautner continues to lead the company's Football business as well as the central Marketing & Client Solutions function. The management board will continue to be completed by Oliver Prenger, Director Finance Controlling and IT. The Human Resources and Administration, Communications and Legal functions will be staff positions to the management.
