Acquisition widens Infront's portfolio with non-competitive event format and new target group
Zug, Switzerland – Infront, a leading global sports marketing company, has acquired Megamarsch, a young Germany-based company focused on organising extreme hiking challenges.
Founded in 2016, Megamarsch offers 14 unique events in its core market of Germany. Organised around cities and attractive regions, the hikes span 50/100km and must be completed within 12/24 hours. Megamarsch founders Frederick Hüpkes and Marco Kamischke will continue to lead the company.

The Megamarsch acquisition follows hot on the heels of the acquisition of UK-based Threshold Sports in April.
