Zug, Switzerland - Almost 80 broadcasters across over 150 territories will broadcast the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship after Infront, the International Ice Hockey Federation’s (IIHF) exclusive media and marketing rights partner, announced its comprehensive coverage plans.
Coverage of the event, taking place in Finland and Latvia from 12-28 May, will be distributed through 45 live TV broadcasters, 30 news and highlights broadcasters, and four radio partners. This reach will ensure that fans around the world can enjoy the excitement of the competition.
In addition, fans in territories without a broadcast partner will be able to stream all games live on the IIHF's official YouTube channel.

This year's production boasts a 31-camera setup throughout the tournament. An additional four cameras will be added for the final weekend, bringing the total to 35 cameras for the Semi-Finals and Medal Games. The 2023 championships will also see several cutting-edge innovations, including immersive replay technology for select games, new ice rink level microphones for enhanced audio, bench cameras to capture the teams' reactions during the final four games, and a red line camera to offer an additional perspective on the ice during the final weekend.
