Beijing, China — This year’s CBA League ended on a high note as the Xinjiang Flying Tigers, this season’s number one, took the championship in the decisive fourth game on Friday with a 117:109 victory in the sold-out Nissan Sports Center, claiming their first CBA League title with a total score of 4:0. The trophy for their victory was handed over by Anne Zhao, Managing Director of Infront, right after the game.
The final clash of this CBA season between the Xinjiang Flying Tigers and Guangdong Southern Tigers was only the fourth time the two teams had a face-off in the CBA finals history. It was also the first time that the Xinjiang Flying Tigers were victorious in their fifth appearance at the CBA Finals.
Infront, the CBA’s exclusive media and marketing partner, helped secure 29 sponsors in total for the 2016/17 season. The sponsorship portfolio is led by Li Ning as Official Strategic Partner and eight Official Partners (Baofeng Sports, FAW-Volkswagen, JD.com, Mobil, PPTV, Sohu, Stanley, Laoshan Beer). The CBA League was broadcast on approximately 20 TV stations across mainland China, including CCTV and a number of regional TVs.
