A new version of Stream Engine, Infront Lab’s solution for custom built Over-the-Top (OTT) streaming platforms, has launched, highlighted by a list of new features and developments to improve experience and workflows for viewers and sports organisations.
Stream Engine allows rights holders and content creators to control and customise the viewing journey from end-to-end, building branded platforms quickly, cost efficiently and without coding experience or technical know-how.
New and existing users will enjoy upgrades that will be felt on both the viewers’ side as well as in the behind the scenes building of the streaming channels
Create dedicated channels and pages for events, tournaments or leagues as well as landing pages for marketing purposes. The new multi-page channel options allows for easier access to segmented games, events and league content. Marketing teams benefit this new feature by driving viewers directly to these pages, allowing for better tracking of efforts from both organic and paid marketing channels.
Each landing page can be individually styled to have its own look and feel, to differentiate between types of events within the same channels, men’s vs. women’s competitions, different leagues or tournaments.
Stream Engine’s now offers more options for subscriptions, payment flexibility and promotions.
Create “waiting rooms” for fans who have joined the stream before the event begins. Viewers will not have to do anything once in the waiting room, and the stream will begin automatically as soon as the event changes from “scheduled” to “live”.
Use these waiting rooms to highlight sponsors and create more value partners by showcasing their logos in additional real estate on the channel.
