Zug, Switzerland – Infront, as the exclusive media rights holder for European club and national team handball, has launched a new handball channel dedicated to streaming the Machineseeker EHF Champions League, the EHF Champions League Women and European League (men and women) across Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden.

Handball-Kanalen.TV, created and managed by Infront Lab, offering fans the chance to watch all matches live and on-demand across the Nordic countries. In addition, all competing clubs across the region will benefit from their own dedicated channel which will serve as a hub to upload dedicated content, and, importantly, provide fans with the option of watching matches on a pay-per-view basis. The hub will be available before the season throw-off.

This initiative will run in parallel with Infront’s partnership with the Swedish Handball League. In April 2023 plans for a new digital ecosystem in Sweden were announced by Infront Lab with the ultimate aim of improving content production and distribution for all clubs.

Damian Browarnik, Managing Director of Infront Lab, said: "Fans in the Nordics have a deep-seated passion for handball and we want to ensure they have a seamless, enriched, and personalised viewing journey. Handball-Kanalen.TV will help redefine the fan experience, bringing them closer to the game they love, adding more touchpoints between clubs and supporters whilst also offering opportunities for sponsors to gain exposure beyond the match."

Amikam Kranz, Infront Media, Betting and Technology Vice President, said: “This initiative serves as a compelling testament to the imperative need for flexibility, adaption and innovation in the constantly changing world of media rights. Navigating unprecedented broadcast challenges Infront Lab has delivered an effective solution in collaboration with the Group's media team. This is the perfect example of the potential our combined teams offer to rightsholders. It's particularly encouraging that, a year after integrating our media, betting, and technology units, we are already witnessing tangible results.”
