COMPETITION FORMAT
The men's & women's tournaments usually feature 16 teams each, and are always played at the same time and same location, every 2 years.
Playing modus subject to change: In the men’s and women’s preliminary rounds, 18 teams compete for 12 spots in the main round. The main round of both the men’s and women’s competitions will feature 2 groups of 6 teams each. The best 8 teams play in the quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals and the final.
SCHEDULING
Men’s & Women’s Beach Handball EUROS are normally played at some point between MAY and JULY
The tournament usually takes place from Tuesday to Sunday
